Neo Arena provides funds for pilot projects suitable for multichannel distribution. There is a continuous open call for new projects 2008-2009.

(07/28/06) Qstock on July 28th and 29th, 2006 (28.7.2006)

Neo Arena’s first live event was the Qstock 2006 rock festival, which took place in Kuusisaari in Oulu on July 28th and 29th, 2006. Neo Arena took part in encoding the transmission to be compatible with the web and mobile version in cooperation with Mobiililiiga Oy, who arranged the filming of the event. Qstock gathered 6,000 unique IP addresses for the channel.

Research subject: a pilot which makes possible the distribution of domestic shows in digital formats.
