(08/01/24) Heart rate easily on screen in post production (24.1.2008)
Neo Arena and Polar Electro Ltd. have collectively produced an application where heart rate of a performer is easily collected into Cameras recording media on time code basis. Collected data can be used later as graphics in post production and produce extra information for viewer. Earlier adding heart rate in post production has been time-consuming and done manually by editor. The solution needs an add-on accessory to be connected in performer´s wireless microphone system. In post production the collected data is modified from audio file in to graphics file with separate software. After conversion, heart rate can be used in editing situation if preferred. Time code basis guarantees synchronisation with video information. Default graphics is freely editable as any text based graphics in editing software.
Application is compatible with Polar RS800 Heart Rate monitor and Final Cut Pro-editing software.
